Golden Surrogacy

Golden Guarantee Program

All-In Fixed Cost Surrogacy

Golden’s Golden Guarantee Program is an All-In Fixed Cost Surrogacy option designed for Intended Parents who want greater financial predictability, defined protections, and premium support throughout the journey. The program combines Premium Surrogate Sourcing guided by Golden’s Enhanced Surrogate Criteria, Premium Surrogate Pre-Screening, major agency services, Surrogate expenses, and key insurance-related protections into one more predictable pricing structure.

If a qualified rematch is needed, Golden covers repeat surrogate pre-screening costs, legal expenses, and additional compensation benefits as many times as required. If parenthood is not achieved, per program conditions, the agency fee portion of the program is 100% refundable.

  • All-In Fixed Cost Structure
  • Premium Surrogate Sourcing
  • Premium Surrogate Pre-Screening
  • Moneyback Agency Fee Protection
  • Surrogate Screening Guarantee
  • Unlimited Surrogate Rematching

Program Protections Designed for Peace of Mind

Golden Guarantee is more than a fixed-cost estimate. It includes defined protections designed to support Intended Parents when covered match, screening, legal, or transfer-readiness issues arise.

Golden Surrogate Promise

Golden is committed to matching Intended Parents with a Surrogate candidate who is medically approved by their fertility clinic, completes the required legal process, and is viable to proceed with at least one embryo transfer.

Surrogate Screening Guarantee

If a Surrogate is disqualified based on applicable in-person medical screening at the Intended Parents’ IVF clinic, Golden will reimburse the associated Surrogate screening costs and recruit a new Surrogate without an additional Golden recruitment fee, subject to program terms.

Covered screening costs may include clinical screening fees, airfare and lodging, lost wages, childcare, and per diem meal allowance associated with the applicable in-person medical screening appointment. This protection is designed to reduce the financial impact of a covered screening disqualification before a journey moves forward.

Moneyback Agency Fee Protection

If parenthood is not achieved, no embryos remain, and Intended Parents do not wish to continue, Golden Guarantee includes defined agency fee refund protection according to the program agreement.

Comprehensive Program Support

Golden Guarantee includes the same Premium Surrogate Sourcing, Enhanced Surrogate Criteria, Premium Surrogate Pre-Screening, high-touch journey management, and dedicated Care Team support as Golden Signature, with the added financial predictability of an All-In Fixed Cost Structure.

Upon selecting Golden to embark on this extraordinary journey, a member of your personalized Care Team will conduct a detailed orientation meeting with you. This important step allows us to understand your goals, timeline, communication preferences, clinic requirements, and matching priorities. We will also review your Intended Parent profile and provide guidance for presenting your family-building story with clarity and care.

Golden does not recruit from the broadest pool of candidates who may qualify under general ASRM guidelines. Golden Guarantee includes Premium Surrogate Sourcing, a selective recruiting process focused on identifying Surrogates who meet Golden’s narrower Enhanced Surrogate Criteria.

This approach requires a significant financial recruiting investment, detailed candidate outreach, careful records review, and a meticulous evaluation process before a candidate is approved for match consideration. By beginning with stronger pregnancy histories, defined health criteria, and clear clinic alignment, Golden is able to focus on candidates who are better positioned to meet the standards of our outcomes-focused matching program.

Once your orientation is complete and your profile is finalized, you are entered into Golden’s Matching Matrix and your custom recruitment cycle begins. Golden then works to identify a candidate who aligns with your relationship preferences, clinic requirements, and Golden’s Enhanced Surrogate Criteria before her profile is presented to you.

Golden’s Premium Surrogate Pre-Screening includes a detailed agency-level review before a Surrogate is presented for match consideration.

  • Application
Surrogate applicants must successfully complete a detailed questionnaire and provide information regarding their pregnancy and health history, family, living situation, support system, employment, and motivation for becoming a Surrogate. This process can take applicants 45-60 minutes to complete thoroughly. Applicants must also submit photo identification and sign a HIPAA release waiver for medical records collection and evaluation.
  • Interview
A member of the Surrogate Intake Team conducts a detailed interview with the applicant to verify the information provided and assess her overall knowledge, preparedness, motivation, support system, and readiness to begin with our agency.
  • Criminal Background Check
Surrogates and their partner or spouse, if applicable, undergo a 7-year criminal background check and address verification. Anyone living in the Surrogate’s home age 18 or older may also be subject to this same check.
  • Pregnancy & Health Records Collection
All previous pregnancy and delivery records are collected. In addition, Golden may request relevant primary care or specialist records to help us further assess the most accurate view of the Surrogate’s overall health history. Records are reviewed before a Surrogate profile is presented to Intended Parents.
  • Insurance Review
The Surrogate’s insurance policy is reviewed by professionals experienced in third-party reproduction to determine whether the policy may be usable for the surrogacy journey. Golden also helps coordinate supplemental maternity coverage, life insurance, and related insurance products required for the journey.
  • OB Medical Clearance & Lab Testing
All Surrogates are required to have their OB sign Golden’s medical evaluation form to verify that they meet Golden Surrogacy requirements and are medically cleared to pursue pregnancy as a gestational surrogate. Additional examination, lab testing, or clinical review may be required by the IVF clinic.
  • Psychological Assessment & Interview
Golden Surrogacy takes mental health very seriously. Every Surrogate is required to undergo a psychological assessment, which may include psychometric testing such as the MMPI-2 or PAI, as well as a clinical interview. This is conducted by a licensed mental health provider experienced in third-party reproduction.
  • Virtual Home Visit
A virtual home visit is completed to help confirm that the Surrogate has a stable, safe, and appropriate living environment during the journey.
  • Delivery Hospital NICU Verification
All Surrogates in Golden’s program must live within a 45-minute drive of a hospital with a Level II NICU at minimum. This added review helps ensure appropriate maternity and newborn care access before moving forward.
  • Maternal-Fetal Medicine Screening Review
Golden Signature and Golden Guarantee include an added Maternal-Fetal Medicine screening review through a specialty provider. This added review provides another layer of clinical insight into the Surrogate’s pregnancy and delivery history before final match approval.
  • Final Leadership Review
After every stage of review has been carefully completed and the Surrogate is ready for matching, Golden leadership conducts a final review before granting match approval.

Each surrogacy journey is carefully managed through Golden’s structured project management process. Your dedicated Care Team coordinates each stage around your timeline, clinic requirements, legal milestones, and Surrogate match, helping ensure that important details are tracked with care and consistency.

  • Third-party Management
Golden serves as the central coordinator for the professionals involved in your journey, including IVF clinics, attorneys, insurance professionals, escrow managers, mental health providers, and delivery hospitals. This allows your journey to move forward with clearer communication and stronger oversight.
  • Surrogate Travel
Your Surrogate’s travel for screening, embryo transfer, and other approved needs is coordinated by Golden. This may include flight research, hotel coordination, local transportation, and applicable advances or reimbursements for approved lost wages and childcare expenses.
  • Local Monitoring
When local monitoring is needed, Golden helps identify appropriate facilities near the Surrogate’s home that can complete bloodwork and ultrasounds according to the IVF clinic’s requirements. Golden also assists with billing setup when available, helping reduce delays and administrative burden.
  • Insurance
Every Surrogate’s insurance policy is closely examined through professionals experienced in third-party reproduction. Golden helps coordinate policy review, supplemental maternity coverage when needed, life insurance, and related insurance products required for the journey.
  • Legal Review
Members of your Care Team review key journey details in the Surrogate Agreement for consistency with the approved match structure, compensation package, reimbursements, and known journey terms. This review does not replace legal counsel, but helps Intended Parents identify items to discuss with their attorney.
  • Hospital Introduction
Golden contacts the delivery hospital to support birth planning, confirm receipt of parentage documentation when applicable, and help coordinate expectations before delivery. This important step helps prepare the hospital team for the unique needs of a surrogacy birth.
  • Escrow Coordination
Golden helps review reimbursement requests and escrow activity for consistency with the legal agreement and journey records. Your Care Team works closely with the escrow provider to help support accurate, timely, and transparent payment administration.
  • Medical Billing
Bills submitted for payment are carefully reviewed by your Care Team to help confirm that insurance processing has been applied where appropriate. If discrepancies are identified, Golden helps coordinate follow-up with the Surrogate and applicable medical providers.
  • Direct Care Team Access
Golden provides direct access to your dedicated Care Team throughout the journey. Surrogacy does not always move on a Monday-Friday schedule, and our team is committed to helping Intended Parents and Surrogates feel supported, informed, and guided as questions arise.
  • Seamless Service
Active journeys are reviewed internally by Golden leadership so the Care Team remains aligned on important updates, next steps, and potential concerns. This helps create a more informed and consistent experience for everyone involved.

Golden provides custom referrals to experienced third-party reproductive attorneys based on the Surrogate’s state of residence and the legal needs of the journey. Surrogates are also referred to independent legal counsel for representation and review. Golden maintains a trusted network of attorneys experienced in third-party reproduction.

  • State Licensed
All Golden legal referrals must be reproductive law attorneys specializing in third-party reproduction and licensed in the state where your Surrogate resides and plans to give birth. The Surrogate Agreement must comply with the laws of that state, which is especially important for parentage paperwork, enforceability, and any required court process.
  • Independent Legal Representation
To avoid potential conflicts of interest, legal referrals made by Golden are to independent attorneys and law firms that are separate from Golden Surrogacy LLC. Intended Parents and Surrogates are not required to retain the legal referrals provided by Golden.

Golden utilizes an independent escrow company that specializes in Trust Account Management Services for third-party reproductive arrangements. Funds are maintained and distributed in accordance with the highest level of fiduciary and ethical standards. All compensation payments and reimbursement requests related to your Surrogate are carefully distributed as per the guidelines outlined in your contract. Your Care Team works closely with the escrow company to monitor all transactions for accuracy.

Utilizing an independent firm eliminates the potential conflict of interest that arises when a surrogacy agency is holding escrow funds while also representing all parties to the reproductive arrangement.

If you have not yet selected an IVF clinic, Golden can provide referrals to trusted fertility clinics and physicians experienced in surrogacy and third-party reproduction. Your Care Team can help you consider clinic communication, third-party experience, pricing structure, and overall fit.

If you want a stronger framework for comparing clinics side by side, how to choose the best IVF clinic for surrogacy walks through what to evaluate in communication, lab quality, third-party experience, and package structure.

While Golden does not currently offer an in-house Egg Donation program, we provide trusted resources and guidance for Intended Parents who need to select an egg donor or egg donation provider as part of their family-building plan.

If egg donation may be part of your path, our guide to choosing an egg donor for a Surrogacy Journey can help you compare donor source, arrangement type, and key planning considerations.

Legal ProcessIntended Parents are matched with a Surrogate in a surrogacy friendly state where parentage rights can be granted in the easiest way possible and the legal agreement is fully enforceable. Surrogates may sometimes reside in states where surrogacy contracts are unenforceable. The legal landscape in these instances may offer Intended Parents less predictability and reassurance.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Golden Guarantee Program

All-In Fixed Cost Surrogacy means Golden Guarantee groups many major covered surrogacy journey expenses into one more predictable program cost. Depending on the program terms, this may include Golden Signature-level agency management, Premium Surrogate Sourcing, Enhanced Surrogate Criteria, Premium Surrogate Pre-Screening, the Golden Surrogate Promise, the Surrogate Screening Guarantee, Surrogate compensation and benefits, legal representation for all parties, escrow-related coordination, insurance-related protection, approved journey expenses, and rematching protections.

All-In Fixed Cost Surrogacy does not mean every possible family-building expense is included. IVF, egg donation, embryo creation, genetic testing, embryo storage, newborn medical expenses, multiples, and special requests or circumstances not included in the program agreement are separate.

Golden Guarantee includes Golden’s premium agency management, Premium Surrogate Sourcing, Enhanced Surrogate Criteria, Premium Surrogate Pre-Screening, high-touch project management, Care Team support, legal referral and coordination, escrow coordination, insurance-related coordination, Surrogate compensation and benefits, approved journey expenses, and defined program protections according to the program agreement.

The program is designed to provide Intended Parents with a clearer financial framework while preserving Golden’s selective, outcomes-focused matching process.

Golden Guarantee excludes IVF, egg donation, embryo creation, genetic testing, embryo storage, newborn medical expenses, multiples, and special requests or circumstances not included in the program agreement.

Additional expenses may also apply when an Intended Parent requests something outside the covered program structure, when a match requires non-covered services, or when the program agreement identifies a cost as the Intended Parents’ responsibility.

The $275,000 Golden Guarantee Program Fee may be paid in full when Intended Parents retain Golden Surrogacy or, when permitted under the Intended Parent Retainer Agreement, in three installments:

  • $90,000 at sign-on
  • $90,000 at Surrogate match
  • $95,000 at the legal phase

Because Golden Guarantee is an All-In Fixed Cost Surrogacy program, Intended Parents do not separately pay the legal, Surrogate compensation, insurance, screening, travel, or other covered journey expenses included under the program agreement. Golden is responsible for funding escrow and paying applicable covered expenses as they become due.

IVF clinic expenses and egg donation services, if applicable, are paid separately by Intended Parents directly to the applicable clinic or provider. These expenses may include embryo creation, egg donor screening and compensation, medications, genetic testing, embryo storage, medical screening, embryo transfer, and other fertility-related services.

If Intended Parents request an item, service, benefit, or arrangement that falls outside the scope of Golden Guarantee, they may be required to fund the applicable amount separately, including through escrow when appropriate. Examples may include special requests added to the Gestational Surrogacy Agreement or other expenses specifically excluded under the program terms.

The signed Intended Parent Retainer Agreement governs the payment schedule, covered expenses, exclusions, and any separately funded amounts.

No. Golden Guarantee is not structured like a traditional Variable Cost surrogacy journey where Intended Parents directly fund escrow and later receive back any unused escrow balance. Instead, Intended Parents pay a fixed Golden Guarantee Program Fee to Golden Surrogacy. Under the program agreement, Golden then funds an escrow account with a third-party escrow provider, which then administers covered Surrogate-related expenses for the surrogacy arrangement.

Because the escrow account is funded by Golden as part of the All-In Fixed Cost Structure, any funds remaining in escrow at the end of the journey, or any internal program funds not ultimately needed for escrow, remain with Golden Surrogacy. They are not refunded to Intended Parents as unused escrow funds.

This structure is what allows Golden Guarantee to provide greater cost predictability. Some journeys may require multiple rematches, repeated rounds of screening, additional insurance products, higher Surrogate-related expenses, approved reimbursements, legal coordination, or other covered costs that exceed the amount originally anticipated. Other journeys may use less. The program is priced as a fixed-cost protection model, not as a dollar-for-dollar reconciliation of actual expenses at the end of the journey.

Intended Parents who are not fully comfortable with this structure, or who prefer to personally fund escrow and receive back any unused escrow balance, may be better suited for Golden Signature or another Variable Cost surrogacy program. Golden Guarantee is intended for Intended Parents who understand how an All-In Fixed Cost program works and who are comfortable trusting Golden to manage covered program expenses and fulfill its obligations under the signed program agreement.

This is separate from Moneyback Agency Fee Protection, which applies only if the specific refund conditions in the signed retainer agreement are met.

Golden Guarantee is not simply a fixed-cost estimate. It is an All-In Fixed Cost Surrogacy program built around Golden’s Premium Surrogate Sourcing, Enhanced Surrogate Criteria, Premium Surrogate Pre-Screening, high-touch journey management, Golden Surrogate Promise, Surrogate Screening Guarantee, Moneyback Agency Fee Protection, and defined rematching protections.

A defining difference is that Golden Guarantee is designed to cover the full Surrogate base compensation and benefit package expected by the Surrogate matched through Golden, according to the program agreement. Some fixed-cost programs place limits on the Surrogate compensation or benefit amounts included in the advertised program cost, which can leave Intended Parents responsible for additional funds if the actual Surrogate package is higher than the program allowance.

Golden Guarantee is structured to avoid that kind of compensation gap for covered Surrogate compensation and benefits. Intended Parents are not choosing a capped allowance that may or may not match the Surrogate’s actual expected package. They are choosing a fixed-cost program designed to manage those covered obligations within the Golden Guarantee framework.

Golden Guarantee is also built around Golden’s Enhanced Surrogate Criteria, by implementing Premium Surrogate Sourcing as the baseline protocol. This includes a selective, outcomes-focused candidate review framework, Premium Surrogate Pre-Screening, preliminary IVF clinic review before match presentation, and an added Maternal-Fetal Medicine screening review through a specialty provider. These layers are designed to support stronger screening, informed matching decisions, and reduced journey risk before Intended Parents move forward with a match.

Golden’s Enhanced Surrogate Criteria are the selective standards used to guide Premium Surrogate Sourcing in Golden Signature and Golden Guarantee. These criteria prioritize strong pregnancy histories, defined health and delivery standards, careful screening, clear match readiness, clinic alignment, and reduced preventable journey risk.

Premium Surrogate Sourcing identifies candidates who meet these standards, while Premium Surrogate Pre-Screening evaluates their readiness before match presentation.

Premium Surrogate Sourcing is Golden’s selective recruiting process for identifying Surrogates who meet our Enhanced Surrogate Criteria. Because Golden’s standards intentionally narrow the eligible candidate pool, this process requires additional investment in outreach, applicant review, medical-record collection, pregnancy-history evaluation, and candidate development.

The goal is not simply to recruit more applicants. It is to identify stronger candidates whose health history, pregnancy history, delivery history, clinic compatibility, and overall readiness align with Golden’s outcomes-focused program standards.

Premium Surrogate Pre-Screening is Golden’s detailed agency-level review process before a Surrogate is presented for match consideration. This may include application review, interview, criminal background check, pregnancy and health records collection, insurance review, OB medical clearance, psychological assessment and interview, virtual home visit, delivery hospital NICU verification, Maternal-Fetal Medicine screening review, preliminary IVF clinic review, and final leadership review.

This process is designed to help identify stronger candidates before Intended Parents move forward with a match.

The Golden Surrogate Promise means Golden is committed to matching Intended Parents with a Surrogate candidate who is medically approved by their fertility clinic, completes the required legal process, and is viable to proceed with at least one embryo transfer.

If a candidate does not complete the legal agreement or cannot complete at least one embryo transfer after screening and legal clearance, Golden will recruit a new Surrogate without an additional Golden recruitment fee, subject to program terms.

The Surrogate Screening Guarantee is a defined protection in Golden Guarantee. If a Surrogate is disqualified based on covered in-person medical screening at the Intended Parents’ IVF clinic, Golden will cover the associated Surrogate screening costs and recruit a new Surrogate without an additional Golden recruitment fee, subject to program terms.

This protection is designed to reduce the financial impact of a covered screening disqualification before a journey moves forward.

Covered screening costs may include clinical screening fees, airfare and lodging, lost wages, childcare, and per diem meal allowance associated with the covered in-person medical screening appointment.

Correctable medical items, mock cycles, mid-cycle lining checks, testing outside the covered in-person medical screening appointment, and other non-covered testing or procedures are not treated the same way under the program terms.

Moneyback Agency Fee Protection is one of the defined protections included in Golden Guarantee. If no embryos remain, parenthood was not achieved, and Intended Parents do not wish to continue, the Agency Fee portion of the Golden Guarantee Program Fee, as specified in the retainer agreement at the time of signing, may be refundable if all program terms are satisfied.

Under Golden’s current program structure, the Agency Fee portion is $65,000. The signed retainer agreement governs the exact refundable amount, embryo eligibility requirements, program conditions, exclusions, and any other applicable terms.

Golden Guarantee must be financially structured to sustain covered worst-case scenarios that can occur during a surrogacy journey. This may include multiple rematches, repeated rounds of Surrogate screening, additional legal coordination, added insurance products, Surrogate-related expenses, approved reimbursements, and other covered costs that may arise before parenthood is achieved or before a refund scenario is reached.

Because every journey is different, it is impossible to predict how much of the overall Program Fee may already have been used to support the journey by the time Intended Parents could potentially qualify for a refund. For that reason, the Moneyback Agency Fee Protection is limited to the Agency Fee portion of the Program Fee, not the entire Golden Guarantee program cost.

If a covered rematch is needed, Golden Guarantee includes rematching protections according to the program agreement. This may include recruiting a new Surrogate without an additional Golden recruitment fee when a covered Surrogate disqualification, legal failure, transfer-readiness issue, or qualifying medical disqualification occurs.

Rematching protections are subject to embryo availability, IVF clinic requirements, program eligibility, Intended Parent cooperation, and the terms of the program agreement.

Yes. Certain Golden Guarantee protections depend on embryo eligibility requirements. Intended Parents must have a minimum of three (3) PGT-normal embryos available for transfer at the time of each Surrogate match presentation.

Embryo availability can affect matching, rematching, transfer planning, and overall program eligibility.

No. Golden Guarantee does not promise pregnancy, embryo implantation, miscarriage prevention, or live birth. Surrogacy and IVF involve medical, legal, and pregnancy-related risks that cannot be guaranteed.

Golden Guarantee is designed to provide a more predictable financial structure and defined protections if certain covered circumstances occur.

Golden Signature uses a Variable Cost Structure, which means Intended Parents pay Golden’s agency fee and separately fund required third-party and journey expenses as they become due.

Both programs include Golden’s Enhanced Surrogate Criteria, Premium Surrogate Sourcing, Premium Surrogate Pre-Screening, high-touch journey management, and dedicated Care Team support.

Golden Guarantee is best suited for Intended Parents who want Golden’s premium surrogacy experience with greater cost predictability. It is designed for families who value Enhanced Surrogate Criteria, Premium Surrogate Sourcing, Premium Surrogate Pre-Screening, defined program protections, thoughtful matching, and high-touch support throughout the journey.

Golden Guarantee may be especially appealing to Intended Parents who want to reduce uncertainty around covered journey expenses while working with a selective, outcomes-focused agency model.
